20 Photos to Inspire Your Prague Trip
Prague is one of Europe’s great cities. It’s scenic, charming, a little quirky, & exhibits some of the continent’s most stunning architecture. But it’s also a really FUN city, filled with beer halls & rooftop bars serving up hearty fare for weary travelers! A great delight is to sit in a sidewalk cafe by the Vltava River, which runs through the heart of town, & people-watch while enjoying views of Prague Castle ~ the major monument that looms large over the city.  Since photos always tell the story best, let’s take a look at “20 Photos to Inspire Your Prague Trip!”
One of my favorite hotels here is the Four Seasons Prague, which sits right on the river ~ & has both a rooftop restaurant, as well as a sidewalk cafe that gives you a perfect vantage point of the city’s skyline.

20 Photos to Inspire Your Prague Trip
This first round of photos is meant to give you a good overview of Prague. The Vlatava River cuts the city in half, dividing it into East & West, New Town vs. Old Town. The older section contains Prague Castle & many of the city’s oldest buildings, while newer restaurants & hotels tend to be on the east side of the river.
Incredible Photos of Prague Castle
You can’t come to Prague & not visit Prague Castle. It not only dominates the city’s skyline, but it’s a significant part of Czech culture & heritage. Taking a guided tour of the complex will help you understand its importance that much better.

Here are some final photos of Prague at some its most beautiful hours: sunset & sunrise. But I found that, even during the day, the city’s bright orange-tiled roofs (which remind me a bit of Lisbon) & its turquoise-blue cathedral spires still photographed beautifully….
Check prices at the Four Seasons in Prague ~ which looks directly across to Prague Castle & over the river….
Goodbye, Prague…
After our Prague trip, we hopped on a train & headed south to Vienna ~ then on to Hungary’s beautiful capital of Budapest. And we fell in love with both cities…which you can read more about below.
