Where Was Emily in Paris Filmed in St. Tropez?
Amidst a (long) season of nothing much but doom in the headlines: the Netflix show “Emily in Paris” is a frothy antidote to all this gloom. Though the title character gets a wee bit annoying at times (SO. DAMN. Chipper!!), all the gorgeous shots of France make up for any potential annoyance. And in Season 2, not only do they visit enviable Paris brunch spots & stately chateaux: they also venture to one of my favorite regions ~ the stunning South of France. Emily starts out on a romantic getaway which goes awry from the start, & ends up with friends at one of France’s most sumptuous oceanfront hotels. Here, we’ll answer the question: “Where Was Emily in Paris Filmed in St. Tropez?”Â
A romantic weekend getaway ends up as a rollicking girl’s trip in the South of France. Find out which gorgeous hotel they’re staying at below….

Where Did Emily in Paris Film in France?
Though some scenes in the South of France were filmed in the charming seaside town of St. Tropez, the hotel with jaw-dropping ocean views is actually located in Cap-Ferrat, just outside of Nice: the Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat. With an enviable position on a lovely little peninsula that juts out into the Ligurian Sea, Cap-Ferrat is home to the stars; only the wealthiest can afford to live here ~ but with a stay at this beautiful hotel, you can soak in some of the magic of Southern France, in one of its most lauded zip codes.
Cap Ferrat is the height of luxury in Southern France, & where you’ll find the rich, famous, & beautiful.

Prices at the Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat start at around 700 Euros per night, & go up from there. Set in a former 1908 villa, everyone from Winston Churchill to Elizabeth Taylor has stayed here, & the property is now owned by the Four Seasons. “Emily in Paris” stayed in the room called the “Palace Sea-View Suite” ~ so if you want to completely re-create her trip, ask for this room! You’ll recognize its wide veranda. Then head down to the iconic Club Dauphin & request your own private cabana, or simply enjoy drinks beside their incredible infinity pool.

Understated elegance.
It would be quite difficult to find a lovelier perch than this one…
“There is something about the sunset on Cap-Ferrat that is simply magical. The colours go from the deepest, flamboyant red to a lighter pastel tone, and their reflection on the sea is a vision that never fails to move me.”

Other great places to explore near Cap-Ferrat include Nice, the lovely hilltop town of Eze, Monaco, & pictured here: Villefranche-sur-Mer.
