Where to Stay in Paris’ Latin Quarter?
The Latin Quarter is my favorite little pocket of Paris. It was the first place I ever stayed with my best friend Lea, back when we were college students. It’s a part of town filled with youthful energy: with lots of restaurants, lots of adorable little bookstores to wander into, boutique hotels ~ plus you’re close to Notre Dame & the gorgeous Luxembourg Gardens. This is a part of town that’s great for first-time visitors to Paris, as well as return visitors. So the question is: where to stay in Paris’ Latin Quarter?

Quick Facts About the Latin Quarter:
- The Latin Quarter is also known as the 5th Arrondissement;
- It’s set on the Left Bank (Rive Gauche) of the River Seine;
- It’s a historic, vibrant neighborhood centered around the Sorbonne University ~ & known for its narrow, medieval streets + lively cafes;
- It borders Jardin du Luxembourg (the Luxembourg Gardens) & the popular Saint-Germain-des-Pres neighborhood; is home to the Pantheon, the Sorbonne, & the Cluny Museum.
