Where is Hannah The Bachelorette Standing in Tulips?
Hannah Brown’s “Bachelorette” promos this season have been KILLING it, from the fantastic, “You Don’t Own Me”-inspired walk through the woods (with total T-Swift vibes), to the main promo shot they’ve been using of her in a gorgeous red dress, with thousands of tulips behind her. So, just where is Hannah The Bachelorette standing in tulips?? ABC has confirmed that this season films in Scotland, the Netherlands, Latvia, & one of my personal favorites: Greece. But there’s only one country where that photo could’ve been taken….& that is, of course, in the Netherlands!Â

Where is Hannah The Bachelorette Standing in Tulips?
I’ve grown to love writing these articles on “The Bachelor” & “Bachelorette” ~ it’s fun for me to research a little & figure out where they stay, in some of the most famous places around the world. And while I don’t know exactly where Hannah B’s promo shot was taken, I have a pretty good guess: the Keukenhof Botanical Gardens, in Lisse, just south of Amsterdam. This is one of the most famous gardens in Europe, & each year, they plant over seven million bulbs! So you can imagine, when spring rolls around, the riot of color that erupts here…
The Keukenhof Botanical Gardens are only open between March 21st – May 10th, which is prime European tulip season. There are many other tulip fields in the Netherlands, but this one is by far the most famous. Plan your visit early!
Lisse is about an hour’s drive south-west of Amsterdam, & the Keukenhof Gardens (pictured) are open from the end of March thru mid-May.
Though Keukenhof is the most famous tulip garden in all of Europe, you can find tulip fields all over the Netherlands. This shot was taken at Lelystad Airport.
Rent a Car!
If you’re flying into Amsterdam to see the tulips, I highly recommend renting a car. This way, you can find off-the-beaten path tulip fields that don’t have masses of tourists. Visit at sunrise or sunset for the best shots, & for the best chance of being the only person in your photos…Â
Where are Tulip Fields in the U.S.?
Don’t want to travel all the way to Europe to see tulips? No problem. When I lived in Portland, Oregon, I visited the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn (about 45 minutes south of Portland) many times. I LOVE this place!! And a huge bonus: it’s dog-friendly! You can’t take a bad shot here, & they have tulips of every color ~ plus a red-and-white windmill, which makes you feel like you’re in Amsterdam.
Can’t travel all the way to Europe to witness the tulips?? Then head to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm near Portland, Oregon. There’s a windmill, it’s dog-friendly ~ & you can grab a beer here with views of iconic Mount Hood!
