Where Do Celebrities Stay in St. Moritz?
I’ve written about where stars stay when in Paris….& as so many seem to be curious about these things ~ today, we’ll jet over to neighboring St. Moritz, in Switzerland. This celebrated mountain town has long been a star favorite, as it sits on the southern slope of the Alps. And it’s centrally-located to many countries: Italy, Austria, France, Germany, & Switzerland, making for an easy flight. Whether it’s Princess Diana or socialite Paris Hilton, let’s find out: “Where Do Celebrities Stay in St. Moritz?”

- Badrutt’s Palace Hotel St. Moritz ($1,634+) = The Top Choice for A-List’ers in the Alps. This is one of Switzerland’s most famous hotels, having hosted Prince Charles & Princess Diana, Audrey Hepburn, Charlie Chaplin, & Marlene Dietrich. Alfred Hitchcock also honeymooned here, then returned 34 more times through the years…which shows how much he LOVED it! They still European royalty, & almost every room has a view of mountains or lake. Stunning.
- Grand Hotel des Bain Kempinski ($1,034+) = Storied Hotel with a Casino that Draws Late Night Stars. “Where Swiss heritage meets modern luxury.” Their Alpine Spa here is INCREDIBLE (you might see Paris Hilton or Claudia Schiffer pool-side), with amazing mountain views. And they’re steps from the Cable Car that takes you up the mountain: so this is a top spot for stars looking to ski in the winter. But it’s the casino that draws the late-night revelers & younger crowd, looking to gamble & dance the night away….
- Kulm Hotel St. Moritz ($1,287+) = Historic Hotel with a Storied Past & Uber-Exclusive “Dracula Club.” Founded by Dracula Gunter Sachs, the “Dracula Club” inside the Kulm Hotel is one of the main draws for celebrities & moguls: & it’s ultra-secretive/”No Cameras” rule is also a huge plus for those seeking privacy from paparazzi. Staying here might grant you access to star-sightings like Robert Deniro, Elizabeth Hurley, or supermodels like Kate Moss.
