Where Do Celebrities Stay in Prague?
Prague is such a fun city! And incredibly beautiful. It’s not surprising that it’s popular with so many stars on press tours, or even just for for pleasure. Some use it as a base for relaxation & inspiration, as they prepare for new roles (like Dev Patel). There are three major hotels where you’re most likely to run into a celebrity, or perhaps spot one dining in the hotel restaurant. The question we’ll answer here is: where do celebrities stay in Prague?

All three hotels that are popular with stars sit by the Vltava River in Prague….

- Four Seasons Prague ($595+) = The Top Hotel for Celebs in Prague: John Travolta famously met Quentin Tarantino here to discuss starring in “Pulp Fiction,” while Mel Gibson, Madonna, former President Obama, the Rolling Stones, Paula Abdul, & Magic Johnson have all stayed here. If it’s too pricey: simply check out their gorgeous garden, book a massage at AVA Spa, or dine at their popular restaurant, CottoCrudo. Check prices here.
A more reasonable hotel nearby, that’s still stylish as hell: The Emerald, Art Nouveau Hotel.
- Mandarin Oriental Prague ($425+) = Kylie Jenner’s Hotel Choice in Prague: An eclectic bunch has called the Mandarin home: everyone from the Kardashians (including Kylie Jenner) to Dev Patel, the Dalai Lama, & Madonna have all graced the sheets here. Dev Patel enjoys it so much: he’s prepared for many movie roles here. It’s a relaxing choice, set in a former monastery, in the popular Mala Strana neighborhood.
GORGEOUS hotel around the corner that’s only $100/night: Pytloun Kampan Garden Hotel Prague.
- Augustine, a Luxury Collection Hotel ($325+) = Former Monastery-Turned Luxury Hotel: Mick Jagger, Manolo Blahnik, Jimmy Choo, Jared Leto, & Orlando Bloom have all stayed at this serene former monastery. Located by the Vltava River, in the shadow of Prague Castle: this is a great base for exploring the city. You’ve got heated bathroom floors, castle views from many rooms, an exclusive spa, & a posh European restaurant & bar.
A great place for star sightings!

“Perfection! The [Mandarin Oriental’s] building is absolutely gorgeous, and in my opinion, you couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s tucked into a quiet, charming neighborhood, yet just minutes from everything you’d want to see or do.
What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. Their warmth made our stay unforgettable.”
