Of all the Greek Islands: there’s no bigger party island than Mykonos. If you’re looking to dance, drink, eat at amazing seaside restaurants, & get lost in white-washed cobble-stoned streets ~ this is the place to do it. Nearby Santorini may be more beautiful, which makes it incredibly popular with couples…but Mykonos is the place to let off some steam & dance the night away. In case you’re wondering who’s been to Mykonos: the list is endless. It includes supermodels Kate Moss & Gigi Hadid, the Kardashians, Kendall Jenner, Kristin Cavallari (who just returned from Mykonos), Paris Hilton, Elizabeth Hurley, Tom Hanks, George Clooney….& too many more to name.
The only place that may be more popular with stars is the City of Light: Paris.

- Mykonos Blu Grecotel ($395+/night) = Glittering Oceanfront Hotel with their Own Beach. Sitting on yacht-filled Psarou Beach, I’ll let their website do the talking: “Psarou. Beach superstardom. A beach for people & yachts. Swim, shop, sunbathe, dance. Be among the summer jet set. Night lights in cobalt & turquoise blue. Sleek white cave pool. Where the Glitterati meet & breathe in the views.” Ummm…need we hear anymore to book this place?! When the Kardashians were in Mykonos, they stayed nearby at My Mykonos Retreat ~ which is now closed.

Mykonos Blu = Great for Girl’s Trips
- Cavo Tagoo Mykonos ($550+) = 5-Star Hotel with Ocean Views & Famous Cave Pool Suite! You had me at “Cave Resort!” The reason this hotel is so famous is undoubtedly for their Cave Pool Suite, which is one of the most Instagrammable spots on the island. There are more TikTok videos about this hotel (& suite) than any other in Mykonos. Saddle up for cosmopolitan drinks at their Mediterranean-inspired Meraki Bar.
Cavo Tagoo = Great if You’re Looking for EPIC Photos
- Santa Marina Resort ($796+) = The Most Celeb Sightings of Any Mykonos Retreat. Brigitte Bardot, Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor, & Jackie Onassis are all rumored to have loved this place. And most recently: Kendall Jenner filmed a viral Tik Tok at Santa Marina (where she allegedly screwed off a bottle top on a Jet ski…with her foot)! A huge draw is the fact that they’re one of the only hotels in Mykonos with their own beach. And their trendy Asian-fusian Buddha Bar keeps celebs returning…
Santa Marina Resort = Great for Luxury-Seeking Marriott Members
- Myconian Avaton ($218+) = Where Paris Hilton Stays on Mykonos…!! I would guess that the reason Paris Hilton likes this hotel so much, is due to its location by the most famous night club/beach club in Mykonos: Super Paradise Beach (a place I’ve been to TWICE, I might add! And yes: it’s that wild.) This gorgeous design hotel features animal-skin rugs, 2 outdoor pools, spa, & one of the best DJ’s around who gets the pool scene going. And all that for around $200/night makes it a Mykonos steal!
Myconian Avaton = Great for Partying on a Budget!
- Bill & Coo Suites and Lounge ($415+) = Intimate High-End Hotel that’s Popular with Celebrity Couples. Just a 10-minute walk from town, Bill & Coo is “beloved by many celebrities,” says LuxuryExecutive.com. Being just a little outside of town gives couples a more peaceful location amidst Mykonos’ craziness, but still close to bars & restaurants. But the best part? Bill & Coos’ own restaurants are Michelin-starred, & some of the most popular on the island….which is great for couples who don’t want to leave the resort.
If I had to guess where Kristin Cavallari stayed on her recent romantic trip ~ I’d guess here…

There’s one spot that didn’t make my list, only because some recent reviews weren’t so great: Kivotos Mykonos. But Calvin Klein, Heidi Klum, Shakira, Prince Albert, & John Legend have all stayed here sooo….it can’t be that bad, right?!
