Its popularity is partly due to the fact that it’s only a two-hour flight from L.A., making it ideal for a few days of fun & sun. Whether it’s George Clooney, Jennifer Lopez, Gwyneth Paltrow on her honeymoon, or the unofficial “Queen of Cabo” herself, Jennifer Aniston: the question we’ll answer here is, “Where Do Celebrities Stay in Cabo?” I’ll give you the top five resorts where you’re most likely to run into a star or two. - **One & Only Palmilla ($$$$) = Jennifer Aniston’s Favorite Hotel in Cabo: Our friend is a surf instructor here, & he’s spotted both Gwyneth Paltrow & Jennifer Aniston here himself! Rumor has it: this is Aniston’s favorite Cabo resort. The hotel was originally a stunning 15-room home that has been turned into a luxury resort. But back in the day, both John Wayne & Lucille Ball stayed here! Oprah has also stayed here…so you know it’s top-of-the-line.
- **Las Ventanas ($$$) = Where J-Lo & the Kardashians Stay in Cabo: This is where true A-listers like Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, the Kardashians, & Jessica Alba stay when they’re in Cabo. One draw, particularly for female stars, is the amazing Spa at Las Ventanas ~ but so is the personal butler service, tequila bar, infinity pool, & lazy river. This place gets rave reviews!
- Grand Velas Los Cabos All-Inclusive ($$$$) = Large Rooms are Great for Families: Abigail Spencer, Sarah Rafferty, & Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth have all been spotted at this luxury beachfront all-inclusive. It’s located in a large high-rise building on the beach, & spacious rooms make it a good choice for families or couples.
- **Esperanza Auberge ($$$$) = Super Exclusive + A-List Resort: More celebs have stayed here than you can imagine ~ Fergie & Josh Duhamel vacationed here once upon a time, Chelsea Handler, Courtney Cox, Sheryl Crow, Jennie Garth, & Will Smith have all stayed here. Ohhh..& Gwyneth Paltrow & Chris Martin honeymooned here, back when they were together. This is a popular spot!
- Waldorf Astoria Pedregal ($$$$) = Popular with Travel Bloggers: This is the closest hotel to Cabo San Lucas proper ~ but with its own gorgeous beachfront. Best of both worlds. Famous travel blogger Kiersten Rich of The Blonde Abroad has stayed with her family here, & Riverdale stars Lili Reinhart & Cole Sprouse have been spotted here.

Tacos in Cabo ~ great question! So we stayed in San Jose del Cabo (not Cabo San Lucas), & one of Matt’s favorite places there, which was just a little off-the-beaten path, is called Lateral. It’s a really cute place, great beverages, & the tacos were my FAVORite of our whole trip!! Enjoy : )
