Where Did Zach The Bachelor Stay in the Bahamas?
Zach’s season of “The Bachelor” is a throwback to earlier, slightly more sentimental seasons, where love was the focus more than drama. It seems anytime one of Zach’s girls gets involved with some kind of drama ~ they’re gone! While this is refreshing in some ways, it also may signal a more *slow* season….which is why the travel component this year will be SO important. The first stop on their international tour is the perfect spot for a winter beach getaway: the balmy Bahamas. Here, we’ll answer the question: “Where Did Zach “The Bachelor” Stay in the Bahamas?“

Zach’s season of “The Bachelor” filmed in Nassau in the Bahamas, which is about an hour flight from Miami. We’ll get into the specific resort(s) below…

All About Baha Mar Resort in the Bahamas
Zach’s season of “The Bachelor” was filmed at the Baha Mar Resort complex in Nassau. Now, this can be a little confusing: because this 1,000 acre resort is actually comprised of three hotels ~ all of which have a different feel. First up, you’ve got where Zach stayed: the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar ($399+/night). This is the largest of the three hotels, with a whopping 1,800 rooms!! A large casino is attached, making it a good choice for adults looking to party & gamble. But it’s huge pool area also makes it a great option for families with kids.
For more privacy: there’s an exclusive “hotel within a hotel” called The Reserve, where Zach’s girls stayed in a large oceanfront suite. This is a great choice if you’re looking for a more upscale setting within this massive resort.
The girls of Zach’s season stayed in one of The Reserve’s large oceanfront suites, which also offers butler service.

The Other Two Resorts at Baha Mar…
Next up within the hotels at Baha Mar is one you may have seen on your Instagram feed lately ~ this is a new “it” spot with travel bloggers….the SLS Baha Mar Resort ($445+/night). The vibe here is younger, hipper, & a little more boutique-y vs. Hyatt’s larger, more corporate vibe. It’s also a little more expensive, but its stylish rooms, swanky restaurants (which include a gorgeous rooftop bar), nightclub & casino may well be worth the extra cost for a romantic getaway or an epic girl’s trip.

The final resort within the Baha Mar complex is Rosewood Baha Mar ($996+/night). It’s by far the most expensive of the three, with rooms setting you back more than $1,000 per night. The feel here is more sophisticated & a little more “adult” than the SLS; quieter & more exclusive than the Grand Hyatt. Their staff is among the best in the Bahamas, & guests rave about the phenomenal service.Â
If it’s a five-star experience you’re after: the Rosewood is your best choice within the Baha Mar complex.

This is really interesting. Do you know if the resort they stayed at is close to the Atlantis Resort?
Hi Yazmin! So yes, the Atlantis Resort is relatively close to where Zach “The Bachelor” stayed at Bahamar: it’s about a 30-minute drive. Nassau is a pretty small island, so if you have a car it’s pretty easy to get around! xoxo Noelia
I love finding out where “The Bachelor” stays around the world and this post on where they stayed in the Bahamas is super helpful! I lvoe how you’ve broken down each resort. Do you know if this is the island where you can swim with pigs in the ocean?
Hi Julie! Thanks for your comment : ) So most people are going to swim with pigs on Big Major Cay, which is an island pretty far south of Nassau. It would definitely involve a flight. There’s no swimming with pigs on Nassau that I know of! Hope that helps, xoxo Noelia
