Where Did “Southern Charm” Stay in the Bahamas?
Season 10 of “Southern Charm” features several episodes set in the Bahamas. And it’s here where perennial playboy Shep Rose finally gets some comeuppance: in the form of being rejected by Bahama beauty queen, Sienna. These episodes include some of the most cringe-worthy, yet oddly vulnerable moments from Shep…he professes his love for Sienna (& her “freckled lips), while she looks bored & ready to get the hell off the island. But….on the plus side ~ the resort they filmed at was gorgeous! So here we’ll find out: “Where Did “Southern Charm” Stay in the Bahamas?“

A total of four episodes in Season 10 of “Southern Charm” were filmed in the Bahamas, Episodes 10-13: “Bahama Blues,” “Text Message in a Bottle,” “Lost at Sea,” & sadly, “Sea’s Just Not That Into You.” The producers were clearly having a little fun here at Shep’s expense.

Baha Mar Resort in the Bahamas
“Southern Charm” Season 10 was filmed at the Baha Mar Resort complex in Nassau. This 1,000–acre resort actually has three hotels within the complex. But the cast stayed at the Grand Hyatt. How do I know this? Because the girls stayed on the 21st floor (in what I think is the Chairman’s Suite), & the Grand Hyatt is the only hotel with more than 20 floors. Meanwhile, the gentlemen of “Southern Charm” stayed in the resort’s palatial Presidential Suite.
The Grand Hyatt Baha Mar ($399+/night) is the largest of the three hotels, with 1,800 rooms!! It has a large casino (where Shep may or may not have gotten lost late-night), making it a good choice for adults looking to party & gamble.

You can tell the difference between the two suites with the color of their pool tables: the girls’ room has a red pool table, & the men’s has a blue one.

Two More Resorts at Baha Mar…
The second hotel at Baha Mar is an “it” spot with travel bloggers & influencers: the SLS Baha Mar Resort ($445+/night). Its stylish rooms, swanky restaurants (including a gorgeous rooftop bar), nightclub & casino ideal for a romantic getaway or an epic girl’s trip.

Rosewood Baha Mar
The final resort within the Baha Mar complex is Rosewood Baha Mar ($996+/night). It’s the most expensive, with a more sophisticated feel than the SLS; it’s quieter & more exclusive than the Grand Hyatt. Their staff is among the best in the Bahamas.
If it’s a five-star experience you’re after: the Rosewood is your best choice within the Baha Mar complex.
