Where Did Peter The Bachelor Stay in Costa Rica?
I’ve spent much of the last three years in South & Central America, & last night’s episode of “The Bachelor” helps show why: Costa Rica’s lush tropical rain forest & towering waterfalls showcased the natural beauty that is so prevalent in this part of the world. In particular, the hotel Peter (& the girls) stayed at offered GORGEOUS, commanding views of Costa Rica’s most impressive natural wonder: Arenal Volcano. So, where did Peter The Bachelor stay in Costa Rica?? Nearly all of the three-hour episode, including time spent in those romantic hot springs, took place at The Springs Resort & Spa at Arenal.

You can get this CRazy view by staying in the Presidential Suite at The Springs Resort & Spa in La Fortuna, Costa Rica.

Arenal Volcano & La Fortuna, where The Springs Resort is located, can be accessed by two of Costa Rica’s major international airports: in San Jose & Liberia. San Jose is the bigger airport, with flights to the States, Europe, & other large cities in South America. Once at the airport, you can rent a car, take a shuttle or bus to the Arenal area.

Rooms at The Springs range anywhere from $450 for a standard room, to over $1,000/night for a larger suite or house. Considering the views you’re getting & the level of accommodations, plus all the activities located on property: this isn’t over-the-top. On site, you can horseback ride, go white-water rafting or kayaking, rock climbing, river tubing, go fishing, take a guided nature tour, visit their Animal Sanctuary, get a massage, & of course, visit the hot springs located all around the property. For families, there’s also a massive water slide, putt-putt golf course, & a gaming/billiards room.
If you think you can get views like this at another resort near Arenal: think again. Though there are many hotels in this area, The Springs stands out as the only one with this particular hilltop location ~ & if you look at a map, you’ll see there’s nothing else around it, & no other hotels. So this is the ONLY place in the world where you’ll get views like this!!! Which is probably why CNN Travel voted it as one of the “Top 7 Resorts in the World with the Most Spectacular Views.”
Also, in case you’re thinking this place looks really familiar, that may be because it’s also been featured on an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

If you watched last night’s episode: this photo of The Springs should look very familiar…

Romantic hot springs…

Not just the exterior is gorgeous at The Springs: this is a STANDARD room here!!

Can you IMAGINE a better view for a hot tub??!
Where Did Peter The Bachelor Stay in Costa Rica?
Though I’ve been to Costa Rica many times, including a volunteer trip to coffee country & a solo trip to a Women’s Surf Camp ~ I’ve never actually been to Arenal Volcano! But this episode of “The Bachelor” definitely puts it on the top of my list.
Those VIEWS….!!!

This place looks ridiculous!! I love finding out where the Bachelor films all their different locations. It’s awesome that they’re headed to Chile and South America next. Keep these posts coming!
Haha ~ will do Donna! I can’t believe “The Bachelor” has another episode coming out this Wednesday already??! Ha too much drama for one season! xoxo Noelia
I love your articles on where “The Bachelor” does their filming – but I wonder if they’re going to stop traveling in all future seasons because of the coronavirus/quarantine!!? The show will feel sooo much different without all of the amazing places they go! Have you heard anything about this for future seasons?
Hey Debra! I’ve heard via Reality Steve that Clare’s season of “The Bachelorette” may be filmed at just ONE international location, & that the duration of filming will be shortened from 8 weeks to 5 weeks. They will basically be “quarantined” in one spot, instead of traveling to various places around the globe. And I do agree with you: the show will definitely be missing out because of it!! Half the reason I watch the show is to see where they are traveling ; ) As for other seasons beyond Clare’s, I have no idea what their plans are.
