Where Did Colton The Bachelor Stay in Singapore?
Last night’s episode of “The Bachelor” is one that will be remembered, & discussed, for some time to come. After my mom & I watched it, I said that “this was the most real discussion that’s ever been aired on this show.” During the episode, “Bachelor” contestant Caelynn (former Miss North Carolina) told Colton that she’d been sexually assaulted during college. This marks the first time that “The Bachelor” franchise has EVER aired a conversation about sexual assault ~ & for a show that centers mainly around “fluff,” I consider this to be (another) very important step in opening up the dialogue around a subject that affects so many, yet is seldom discussed. And though I’m answering the travel-related question, “Where Did Colton The Bachelor Stay in Singapore,” in this article, the backdrop & most important part of the Singapore episode will always be that Caelynn broke the veil of “Bachelor” silence, by telling her story.
Where Did Colton The Bachelor Stay in Singapore?
The very short answer to the question of “Where Did The Bachelor Stay in Singapore” can be summed up in three words: the Hotel Fairmont Singapore ($200+/night), one of the most famous five-star hotels in the city. And though you might expect rooms to be out of reach, in terms of price ~ I was pleasantly surprised to find that rooms here start at $200! Much less than I was expecting….
Located twenty minutes from Singapore’s International Airport, right in the heart of the city, the Fairmont is one of Singapore’s iconic hotels. World-class shopping is just minutes away (as evidenced by the mountain of clothing Caelynn scored during the day portion of her date), & one of Asia’s largest spas is right on the premises: Willow Stream Spa. The Fairmont has 769 lavish guest rooms (including some pretty amazing penthouses), & there are 15 restaurants on-site, featuring everything from traditional Japanese food to Italian cuisine.
Where Else Did They Visit?
Tayshia & Colton memorably went bungee jumping in Singapore at AJ Hackett Bungee, located in Sentosa. This activity costs only $199 ~ so you too can bungee jump in Singapore if you reallyyyyy want to!! Then, later in the episode, Colton & his 13 dates (how can you possibly go on a date with 13 people?!) visited some of Singapore’s famous food markets, that were also featured in the movie of the summer, “Crazy Rich Asians.”Â
But perhaps the most beautiful, unique place in Singapore is where the episode ended: in the shadow of the towering, flower-like structures at the Gardens by the Bay. For just $28, between 9AM-9PM you can tour this enormous complex that features a Flower Dome, Supertree Grove & Skyway (the big structures), Cloud Forest, & many more ~ plus plenty of dining options. This is a WOW place!!

I agree, this was one of the most important episodes that “The Bachelor” has aired. I’m glad they took away some of the “fluff” in order to show a more real conversation. It’s about time. Singapore looked like an interesting destination as well. Enjoy your blog!
