The World Cup is going strong, with four more upcoming matches at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The stadium is located in Inglewood, which is home to the old Forum, where my dad used to take me to watch the famous “Showtime” Lakers! While this is a long-standing neighborhood: it isn’t known for being the safest. So whether you’re headed to the Kia Forum, Intuit Dome, or SoFi Stadium, let’s find out: where are the safest hotels by SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles?

Is It Safe to Stay by SoFi Stadium?
The good news is: on event nights, the area around SoFi is typically pretty safe. This is for two main reasons: 1) There will be a heightened police + security presence, due to the event; & 2) There are SO many other people out walking! These two reasons alone should make it feel a little safer to walk (less than a mile) to the stadium.
Another general rule to follow: stick to an actual HOTEL, vs. the budget motels that line Century Boulevard & surrounding areas. A Motel 6 just won’t have the kind of security measures that an actual hotel does.
Generally speaking, the further out in Inglewood you go: the sketchier it has the potential to be. Visitors to SoFi who prioritize safety tend to stay in hotels in the Stadium District (like The Anthem), the LAX Hotel Zone, or even in upscale Manhattan Beach….where I used to live! If you’re planning to visit the beach the day after your concert: I’d recommend staying in Manhattan Beach, Hermosa, or Redondo Beach ~ which are all lovely beach cities.
Manhattan Beach is an upscale area that’s about a 20-minute Uber ride from SoFi Stadium (depending on traffic).

- CONS: Very basic rooms, traffic noise, & mixed reviews from guests on cleanliness
The hotel is approximately 0.5 miles from the stadium and is one of the few truly walkable options.
Hollywood Park Motel is the closest hotel to SoFi, but rooms are very basic & it can be noisy.
2. The Anthem Los Angeles Stadium District: Best Newer Walkable Hotel
- Modern property with rooftop bar
- Outdoor pool with swim-up bar
- Fitness center & restaurant on-site
- Walkable to SoFi, Kia Forum, and Intuit Dome
- CONS: Rooms aren’t the largest, & Valet Parking can be expensive

Which Hotel Would I Stay at?
Hands-down, if I wanted to walk to SoFi Stadium: I’d 100% stay at The Anthem vs. Hollywood Park Motel. I prefer the style at Anthem, & find Hollywood Park’s rooms a little depressing, TBH! Plus, I feel the overall sense of safety + security measures is much higher at The Anthem.

Where Would I Stay by SoFi?
If proximity to the Stadium was my #1 consideration (or I was going to multiple concerts in one weekend), I’d definitely stay at The Anthem. If I was flying out the next day & wanted to be close to LAX, I’d stay at the H Hotel ~ for luxury on a budget!.
