“The Bachelor” Hotel in Jasper, Canada
I’ve skipped the last few seasons of “The Bachelor” because….well, it’s gotten a little stale. And some of the previous “Bachelors” were a little….ummm, uninspiring!? Or perhaps underwhelming is a better word. But! Joey’s season seems to be reviving the franchise: he’s a breath of fresh air. And the last episode, which featured footage of amazing turquoise lakes all around Alberta, Canada was GLORIOUS. This is a part of the world that is on many a bucket list. Here, we’ll find out where Joey stayed in Canada, aka “The Bachelor Hotel in Jasper National Park.”
Map of Jasper National Park
Sooo…how do you get to this beautiful part of Canada? Jasper’s a little off-the-beaten-path: the two closest international airports are Edmonton (YEG) & Calgary (YYC). But it’s still a four or five-hour drive to Jasper. Banff, which has similar scenery ~ is just over an hour’s drive from Calgary International Airport, so a little easier to access.
And there’s an amazing hotel there, that’s a sister property to Joey’s hotel in Jasper: the Fairmont Banff Springs. With a fairytale setting amidst the mountains, this is a once-in-a-lifetime hotel experience.

Where Did Joey “The Bachelor” Stay in Jasper?
Answer: The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge ($248+/night). This historic hotel opened in 1922, & is set along the shores of Beauvert Lake, in Jasper National Park. There’s a definite “upscale log-cabin vibe” going on here (the girls stayed in their 3 & 4-bedroom cabins), with cozy, rustic rooms looking out to gardens, mountains, or lake. Some rooms have balconies, & suites add fireplaces or wood-burning stoves; others have hot tubs. There’s an Italian bistro on-site, high-end spa, & a golf course with absolutely incredible mountain views.
Due to its remote location, the hotel offers an airport shuttle to the nearest airports ~ either Calgary or Edmonton.
“Visited the Fairmont this past weekend with friends to celebrate my 40th birthday & enjoy the Alberta Beer Festival. We had an amazing time. There were a plethora of activities: including skating, swimming, shopping, relaxing with a beer, eating, & hiking. The views were truly world-class. If you’re in Jasper for the mountains, this place offers breathtaking vistas from every angle.”
