Fabulous Restaurants in Selling Sunset
“Selling Sunset” is one of my favorite shows on Netflix. Every time a new season comes out, it’s hard not to binge all episodes in one sitting! There’s something addictive about the girls’ insane fashion (restaurants often turn into runways), the totally out-of-reach Los Angeles homes they sell, & of course: THE DRAMA. Even with Christine Quinn, aka “The Villain” gone, there’s still a ton of it. And much of it takes place at fashionable hotels & restaurants all over the city….& even out in Palm Springs! Here, we’ll list some of the most “Fabulous Restaurants in Selling Sunset!”
This article will focus on Season 7 of “Selling Sunset.” If you’re also a fan of “Selling the OC,” check out fabulous brunch spots in both Newport Beach & my former hometown, San Clemente.

Fab Restaurants in Season 7 of “Selling Sunset”
- Episode 1 = To open the episode, Emma & Chelsea head to the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons to see if it’s a good spot for her upcoming birthday party. And turns out: their Penthouse Suite is. Later in the episode ~ Emma, Chrishell, Bre, & Amanza have dinner at sexy Lavo Ristorante (pictured above) in West Hollywood, right off the Sunset Strip.
- Episode 2 = Half-way through the episode, Nicole & Amanza meet for a tense lunch at cute Melrose Mexican restaurant, Gracias Madre.
- Episode 3 = Chrishell & Jason’s child-bride Marie-Lou (is she for real?!) have a VERY tense meet-up at gorgeous Velverie Cafe & Teahouse, in Beverly Hills. This cafe feels very Parisian, with the “Je Ne Regrette Rien” sign (Translation: “I regret nothing“) right above Chrishell….which seems extremely apropos, given their terribly awkward conversation.
- Episode 4 = Chelsea & Amanza meet up at swanky Sunset Strip hot spot, 71 Studio & Bar ~ located by the Hollywood Farmer’s Market & Thomspon Hollywood hotel. And yes, their meet-up is tense….like nearly every dinner this season! Later in the episode, Chelsea has lunch with Emma, at cute cafe Vintage Wine & Eats, in Studio City.
- Episode 5 = Chelsea & Amanza meet up for Spicy Margs (the drink of the season) at a swanky Hollywood upstairs lounge & bar….but they never show the name of it. If you have any intel here: let me know in the comments below! It looks kind of like the Tower Bar at the Sunset Tower Hotel (but it’s not).
- Episode 6 = Mary & Nicole meet at Hudson House Restaurant & Raw Bar, in Beverly Hills.
- Episode 7 = START OF THE CABO EPISODES!!! While the crew heads off to Cabo San Lucas, Mary & Romaine stay behind in L.A. & have dinner at Basbussa, a Middle-Eastern restaurant in West Hollywood ~ located by the Beverly Grove & SLS Hotel Luxury Collection. At the end of the episode, the group has dinner at the multi-million dollar house rented by Jason & Brett….so there are no actual Cabo restaurants in this episode!
- Episode 8 = MORE FROM CABO!!! The episode starts at the development Jason & Brett are hoping to land: Diamante Beach Estates. In case you’re wondering….here are some of the closest hotels to the Estates. Later, Bre, Amanza, Chelsea, & Emma head to swanky Rooftop 360, located on top of Corazon Cabo Resort & Spa, overlooking the ocean. And finally, the episode ends with a bang at Nido, a gorgeous Japanese Grill set inside the Viceroy Cabo. This is the restaurant that looks like an upscale bird’s nest! And it’s also where Amanza sends Chrishell a potentially friendship-ending video….
- Episode 9 = FINAL CABO EPISODE. Upon returning from Cabo, Chelsea & Nicole meet for a lunch date at Nua Mediterranean restaurant in Beverly Hills. New friend Cassandra (who Bre hates), meets up as well. Towards the end of the episode, Bre & Chrishell meet at DARLING Coffee and Plants in Studio City (next to Bonjour Fete Party Boutique). This is one of the cutest restaurants in the whole season!!
- Episodes 10 & 11 = NO RESTAURANTS!! Because these episodes are focused on the opening of the new office (right next door to the old office), there are no lunchtime chats or sexy nighttime meet-ups. But in case you’re wondering, the closest hotel to the Oppenheim Group office is famous Sunset Marquis, which has many of its own swanky restaurants.

LOVE this list of restaurants where the girls eat in Selling Sunset!! My friends and I have been wanting to check some of them out, but didn’t want to re-watch the whole show. Any idea which hotels are best for celeb sightings in LA?
Hi Allison! Glad this list helps : ) In the area where the girls hang out, I think the Chateau Marmont is #1 in terms of celebrity-sightings…& they’re actually selling a house right next door to the hotel in Season 7. Cheers! xoxo
Awesome, Cindy! Have fun : ) xoxo
