Best Ski-in Ski-Out Resorts in Jackson Hole

Jackson Hole is the #1 ski resort in Wyoming, & it’s the #1 resort in AMERICA for expert terrain.  Put another way: this is where serious skiiers come to play.  Only 4% of the mountain offers beginner runs ~ so this isn’t a great place to learn how to ski, as you’ll be limited to a very small portion of the mountain.  If you are traveling with beginners, the best hotel choice is the Four Seasons: they’re located right by the mountain’s green runs.  But here, we’ll cover all the “Best Ski-in Ski-out Resorts in Jackson Hole!”

Though this article is titled “Jackson Hole,” please note that ski-in/ski-out resorts here are actually located in Teton Village~ which is right at the base of the mountain. It’s a 25-minute drive from Jackson to Teton Village.

Teton Moutain Lodge is a four-star luxury resort with an elegant, yet laid-back feel.  Many rooms offer mountain views, as does their restaurant ~ where you can get modern-mountain cuisine & craft cocktails.  Their Solitude Spa was rated #1 in all of Wyoming by Conde Nast…making it a great place for post-slope pampering.  Relax on their rooftop terrace, or in their amazing rooftop hot tub.

2. Hotel Terra Jackson Hole = Best for Families

If you’re traveling with kids, Hotel Terra provides great value with their larger suites ~ which have kitchens, living areas, & multiple bedrooms.  If you don’t want to spend Four Seasons kind-of-money: Terra is more reasonable.  Plus, you’ve still got rooftop infinity pools & hot tubs, a buzzy bar, two restaurants, & a cozy lobby.

3. Snake River Lodge = Best VALUE

Snake River Lodge provides a great mid-range option for ski-in/ski-out in Jackson.  This is a fantastic spot to balance value with amenities.  Considered a four-star luxury resort, you’ll find allergy-free rooms, bathrobes, & room service ~ along with a spa, indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, Ski Valet, & great on-site dining at Gamefish Restaurant. 

They’ve got regular rooms, suites, luxury penthouses, & residences: something for everyone.

4. Alpenhof Lodge = Best on a BUDGET 

Built in 1965, this is one of the oldest properties in the village.  There’s a heated pool, sauna, hot tubs, free breakfast, & on-site ski rentals.  Not too bad for budget accommodations!  Their Bavarian-styled building reminds me a lot of Vail Village, which has a European flair.  Their restaurant is also darling & cozy, with a nice roaring fire.

If you want true luxury, there’s one option: Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole.  Located in the northern part of the village, you’re steps from Teewinot Lift (which leads to greens) or Sundance Lift, which leads to the top of the mountain.  Renovated rooms are even nicer & more spacious than before.  A full-service concierge is at your disposal, along with a gorgeous spa, & several restaurants ~ some with panoramic mountain views.
