Best Ski-in Ski-Out Hotels in Breckenridge
1. Marriott’s Mountain Valley Lodge = Great for Beginners!
What separates Marriott’s Mountain Valley Lodge from other hotels is its dramatic location on Maggie Pond. This is more of an apartment hotel: most rooms have kitchens & balconies. And there’s a 24/7 gym, outdoor pool & hot tub. You’re close to Quicksilver lift, which leads only to green runs ~ great for beginner skiers. More advanced skiers will need to jog over to reach black bowls & harder runs, or head to the blacks available from nearby Falcon Superchair.

2. Blue Sky Breckenridge = Great for Families & Groups
Blue Sky Breckenridge gets you closer to the center of the mountain. But the Snowflake Lift (closest to Blue Sky) leads only to green runs. For more advanced terrain, jog left to the C-Chair, or right to Colorado Superchair. Blue Sky is a condo-hotel, with 1-4 BR condos, making it a great option for families & large groups. There’s an on-site ski rental shop, spa, outdoor pool & hot tubs ~ as well as a game room & bar. The window to buy lift tickets is just outside the back door, with the lift just yards away ~ making this a truly great ski-in ski-out option.

***If being close to town is important to you: Blue Sky Breckenridge is the CLOSEST hotel to town, & all its great apres-ski spots! You can easily walk from the hotel to many restaurants & bars.

Blue Sky Breckenridge is upscale & swanky: with more character than the Marriott.

Spacious mountain lodgings make it great for groups.
“Blue Sky has an 85-degree heated pool, 3 BIG hot tubs, & a Ski Valet. Just put on your boots, walk 15 steps, & you’re at the rack getting your skis, another 20 feet & up 8 steps to Snowflake Lift.”

3. One Ski Hill Place = BEST Location
One Ski Hill Place has arguably THE BEST location of any hotel in Breckenridge, located right in the center of the mountain ~ at the base of five different chairlifts. It’s a great option for ALL levels of skiers/boarders, as you can reach any type of terrain. Again, you’ve got 1-4 BR options, & room service is offered from the hotel’s many restaurants. A heated patio & outdoor fireplace keep you toasty after skiing, as will the indoor + outdoor pools, & hot tub.
Kids will also enjoy the bowling alley!
***If I had to pick just ONE place in Breckenridge to stay: it would be here!
Closest Ski Lift: Rip’s Ride (Greens) & 5-Chair (Terrain Parks)

“One Ski Hill’s location is amazing. If you’re skiing with kids, stay here. The ability to rent skis next to the hotel & valet each day is unbeatable. The hotel has a great pool & hot tub. Getting into town is super easy using the shuttle.”

For intermediate & advanced skiers who want access to back bowls: Crystal Peak Lodge is your best option. Crystal Peak is located on the far right side of the trail map, at the base of Independence Superchair ~ which leads only to blue & black terrain. Not a great option for beginners. This is an apartment-hotel, with large 1-4 BR options; every room has a patio or balcony with views, which is a huge plus. Enjoy private ski lockers, shuttle service to town (which is 2 miles away), outdoor fire pits & hot tubs.

You’ve also got kid’s pools & hot tubs, + an adults-only area with pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, & waterfalls. Translation: ultimate relaxation. There’s also got a private movie theater, on-site ski rentals, spa, & restaurant. Similar to Crystal Lodge, you’re two miles from town here.
***Note: Both Crystal Peak & Grand Lodge are better suited for more experienced skiers!!! But you can also take the Gondola over to beginner runs.

Took your recommendation to stay at One Ski Hill Place with our family of six. LOVED IT. We’re all different ability levels of skiing/boarding, and it was easy for everyone to get where they needed to go here. Hot tub after a day on the slopes was fantastic.
