Overview of Best Paris Hotels for Tourists
- We Want to Splurge, Be PAMPERED, & Walk to Fabulous Shops & Restaurants….!! Stay at the Hotel Plaza Athenee ($1,886+/night), Carrie Bradshaw’s hotel in “Sex & the City,” which is a Paris landmark in its own right ~ & one that puts you right on the Champs-Elysees. Or for iconic Eiffel Tower views, check into Beyonce’s favorite Parisian hotel: Shangri-La Paris ($1,016+/night), which puts you so close to the Eiffel Tower (many rooms have balconies) that you can almost reach out & touch it…
- We Want to be Near the Louvre & All the City’s Best Museums! The Louvre is located right across the bridge from my favorite museum, Musee d’Orsay. My favorite luxury option here is Hotel Regina Louvre ($375+/night). Set right across from the Tuilerie Gardens, in easy walking distance to several museums, the Regina has LARGE rooms, which is rare in Paris…& some with Eiffel Tower views! In the “Luxury Budget” category, the stand-out is Hotel Moliere ($184+/night). This modern hotel boasts stylish, sound-proof rooms, espresso machines, soaking tubs, skylights, & a sauna ~ you get a lot for your money here.
- Where are the Best Places for Families to Stay in Paris? Easy access to Disneyland Paris is often a must for families, as this is a top attraction for those visiting with kids. Enter: the Disney Newport Bay Club ($334+/night), which puts you on the water, just outside of Disneyland. Or if you’d prefer to be in town: Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel ($715+/night) puts you right next to the Eiffel Tower…but also offers you a shuttle to Disneyland Paris. Best of both worlds.
- We Don’t Want to Break the Bank in Paris…but Still Want a Great Location! The aforementioned Hotel Moliere is a great option for under $200/night; its beautiful interiors don’t scream “budget” at all. Another great option: Hotel Marais Bastille ($126+/night). Located by Notre Dame, rooms are simple, stylish, & clean ~ if slightly on the small side. Great for solo travelers, & a great location to walk from! The Latin Quarter is one of Paris’ best areas for reasonable rooms: great sights here include the Pantheon & the stunning Luxembourg Gardens…one of the most beautiful places in Paris. A stand-out hotel here is Le Senat ($174+/night), which puts you right next to the Luxembourg Gardens, & gives you chic rooms in a pretty 19th-century building.
- What are the Most ROMANTIC Hotels in Paris with Great Views?! The Shangri-La Paris is one of the best hotels for balconies with Eiffel Tower views, & it’s romantic enough for Beyonce & Jay-Z. Le Splendid Etoile Hotel ($236+/night) is just two-minutes from the Arc de Triomphe, & many rooms here have UNREAL views of this classic Parisian monument. And it lights up & twinkles at night…which adds to the romance. Finally, Le Metropolitan Hotel ($429+/night) has some of the most interesting architectural features in the city: beautifully oval-shaped windows that frame Paris oh-so-well. Not only do their chic rooms spell romance ~ so does their sleek spa with indoor pool & a Turkish-styled hammam.
