Best Hotels with Sea Views in Manuel Antonio

Manuel Antonio is one of Costa Rica’s premier beach destinations.  But it’s an interesting place: many of its hotels are situated high up on cliffs, overlooking the ocean.  It’s not an easy town to walk, as the main road has little to no shoulder, & NO sidewalk.  Thus, it’s ideal to stay in a hotel with great views AND a great pool.  Then, if you don’t feel like trekking down to the beach ~ you can enjoy the view & cool off poolside, without having to leave your hotel.  To help narrow down your search, here are the “Best Hotels with Sea Views in Manuel Antonio!”

Best Hotels with Sea Views in Manuel Antonio

The common denominator with all these hotels is: sweeping sea views + posh-looking pools.  And they’re in the best location ~ away from gritty Quepos (where the bus station is), closer to Espadilla Beach & Manuel Antonio National Park.

The cheapest & closest to the National Park is Karahe Beach Hotel ($80+), which is a little basic, but excellent value for the price…& great if you’re on a budget in Costa Rica!

Best Hotels with Sea Views in Manuel Antonio

When I visited Manuel Antonio, I stayed at Hotel California ~ which is closer to Quepos, & made for a longgg taxi ride to the beach.  It was lovely, but not walk-able to anywhere, & inconvenient in terms of location.  Next time, I’d stay at one of the hotels above: closer to the action & the beach.
