Florence lies in the Tuscany region of Italy, & to me: it’s about 100X more romantic than Paris! Last year, I met a friend in Paris, then continued onto Italy. And Florence just BLEW me away, much more so than Paris. Whether you’re traveling solo or with a lover, Florence will hold you in rapture: with its divine statues, the Duomo, Boticelli’s sumptuous artwork, its soaring cathedrals & hidden, romantic trattorias. But most of all: with its VIEWS!!! The views in Florence are nearly impossible to beat ~ & the centerpiece of that view is the River Arno.
