List of “Emily in Paris” Filming Locations
The scene above was filmed at Brasserie des Pres, which sits on the CUTEST cobble-stoned Parisian side street. This is a place I’d want to stay by!! And you can: at chic Hotel Saint Andres des Arts ($152+) ~ which is affordable, yet walkable to Notre Dame & the Luxembourg Gardens.
- Episode 1, “Break Point“ ~ Season 4 opens up in a darling little side street on the artsy Left Bank. Emily & Mindy are gossiping outside at adorable Brasserie des Pres….& it makes me want to eat here!! This is the quintessential Paris cafe. But the bulk of the episode takes place at Stade Roland Garros (or Roland Garros Stadium). This is where the French Open is held every May & June, & where Emily & Alfie are caught on the “Kiss Cam“…but then break up! There’s no JVMA Suite at Roland Garros ~ but their nicest restaurant is La Brasserie des Mousquetaires. VIP’s can also book out exclusive Salons de L’Orangerie.
- Episode 2, “Love on the Run“ ~ Camille goes missing in Episode 2, & Emily meets up with some of Cami’s friends at a cafe on Place de la Madeleine, on the Right Bank to discuss how to find her. And Emily does end up finding her….at the incredible gardens of Giverny, Monet’s former home ~ which is located 50 miles north of Paris.
- Episode 3, “Masquerade“ ~ This is one of my favorite episodes of the whole show. They went all out to create a fantastical Masquerade Ball, which was filmed at Galerie-Musee Baccarat: a museum that houses over 1,000 pieces of crystal. The costumes & whole setting is epic, as Alfie & Gabriel compete for Emily’s affections. At the beginning of the episode though, Emily & Mindy go wine tasting at Laperouse (says the show’s Production Designer), which translates to: “House of Pleasures.” It’s located on the Left Bank, across from Sainte-Chapelle, by Relais Hotel Vieux Paris. Then, the magical bistro where Emily meets co-workers is called Carette Patisserie (famous for its pastries!), on Place du Trocadero ~ which has INCREDIBLE views across to the Eiffel Tower!!
This is a Paris must-visit spot.
- Episode 4, “The Grey Area“ ~ This episode starts with Sylvie lunching with her former “Dancing Queen” mother at Kaspia, which is around the corner from celeb-favorite, Hotel de Crillon. But the most exciting scene of the episode is when Gabriel invites Emily up to their rooftop: where he’s set up a bed surrounded by candles, & a view of the Eiffel Tower. Where can you re-create this “Rooftop with an Eiffel Tower View” situation?! At two of the city’s finest hotels: The Peninsula Paris (which is by the Masquerade Ball location), or at Beyonce & Jay-Z’s favorite Paris hotel: The Shangri-La Paris, which has some of the best balcony Eiffel Tower views in town.
- Episode 5, “Trompe L’Oeil“ ~ At the beginning of this episode, Cami & her Greek girlfriend go shopping at Marche Paul Bert ~ which is part of the massive Les Puces de Saint-Ouen Flea Market. It’s located in the northern part of Paris, at 110 Rue des Rosiers. Then, Sylvie takes her husband to a grand birthday dinner at L’Ambroisie ~ which is so hard to get into, she calls in a favor to get last-minute reservations. L’Ambroisie is located on Place des Vosges in the Marais district, around the corner from 4-star Hotel de JoBo.
Later, Gabriel introduces Emily to his chef friends for a late-night dinner at Bouillon Chartier, which is an enduring, old-fashioned brasserie & famed Paris haunt.
A Few More Photos from Season 4…
If you’re headed to Roland Garros Stadium for an event, & wondering if there’s a great hotel nearby: check out Molitor Hotel & Spa ($356+), which was also featured in Season 3 of “Emily in Paris.” All rooms are centered around their incredible outdoor pool, which is where Emily & Mindy were filmed drinking & gossiping!
And it’s located right across the street from Roland Garros.
Check rates at the hotel with the closest, & many say best views of the Eiffel Tower ~ that’s very popular with celebrities: Shangri-La Paris. I’ve stayed at their sister property in Bangkok…& it’s still one of the top hotel stays of my life.
